Advanced Math & Algebra Program

In an ongoing effort to improve on the school’s foundation of Academic Excellence in a Catholic Community, St. Mary’s School has formed a strategic partnership with Stanford University to bring Advanced Math & Algebra to the Boise valley.

Research shows that online programs such as this fill a critical need for gifted and talented youth, providing access to advanced courses for students who desire challenging courses. Moreover, several studies of the performance trajectories for students in a variety of these courses have demonstrated that they are a valuable resource because it allows students to accelerate their academic pursuits through an independently driven program.

Our program is a zero-hour class offered Tuesdays and Thursdays. Courses covered are Advanced Math and Algebra.

Benefits:

  • Students remain in their normal school environment
  • Students receive individualized instruction which accommodates individual differences in student learning
  • Students progress at their own pace and to accelerate their education.

Advanced Math & Algebra constantly evaluates new technologies and revise courses regularly based student-performance data. This program strives to deepen and improve the nature of computer-based distance learning instruction.
