Campus Life at St. Mary's Catholic School

St. Marys School campus life activities

At St. Mary’s School we realize there is a world to discover outside the classroom. Our students are welcomed and often encouraged to join in and try out for many varying activities at the school. From athletics to school council to before-school chess club, these opportunities will help enrich your child’s learning experience, develop leadership and self-reliance and allow your child to experience the sense of community found at St. Mary’s School.

Special Programs

St. Mary’s PTO Activities Program provides opportunities for our students to grow socially, emotionally, and academically in a fun, non-traditional, Christian environment.  It provides classes at all age levels of interest, excitement, and growth for those who choose to participate.  Classes are offered before and after school at St. Mary’s School.

Competitions: National Geography Gee, Science Olympiad, Science Fair, History Day, Spelling Bee.

Liturgical Dance/Honor Choir: St. Mary’s has the King David Dancers that assist with special liturgies throughout the year.  There is both a 4-6th Grade Honor Choir and a 7th & 8th Grade Honor Choir that performs at our Fall and Spring Concerts, special Liturgical events in the Treasure Valley. The Honor Choirs do both religious and secular music.

Student Council: This group reviews and coordinates all charitable requests or disaster appeals and promotes school spirit and good citizenship throughout the school.  Sponsor the monthly Food Bank collection and annual Coat Drive, Red Ribbon Week Activities, Catholic School’s Week Activities.  They meet twice/month with their student advisors.
