John J. Creegan Foundation For St. Mary's Catholic School

The John J. Creegan Foundation for St. Mary’s School, Inc. is an endowment providing annual support to St. Mary’s Catholic School.

In the spirit of Monsignor Creegan, a group of parishioners led by Fr. Don Riffle organized the John J.Creegan Foundation in 1981 as a non- profit organization separate from the parish, but solely for the benefit of the school.  The Creegan Foundation will ensure long term continued financial stability for St. Mary’s School.

The Foundation’s investments are managed by a professional investment firm in Boise. The Foundation’s annual contribution is based on the continued success of the portfolio performance.  Since its inception, the foundation has provided over $750,000 in financial support, through annual gifts to the school that typically range between $25,000 and $30,000 per year. The Foundation raises funds by soliciting donations, accepting  donations by our regular contributors, and being named the beneficiary of bequeaths and estate gifts. John J.
