Stanford Gifted-Child Project

In an ongoing effort to improve on the school’s foundation of Academic Excellence in a Catholic Community, St. Mary’s School has formed a strategic partnership with Stanford University to bring the Stanford Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY) to the Boise valley.

We are very excited to be a part of this project with Stanford. While we remain a traditional Catholic school, we are a very forward-thinking organization and strive to offer the best education possible for our students.

computer technologies in class at St. Marys EPGY programOur Stanford EPGY program is a zero-hour class offered Tuesdays and Thursdays. Courses covered are Math, Language, Arts and Writing for Kindergarten through 7th grade.

Do so without requiring them to leave their normal school environment,

Individualize instruction and accommodate individual differences in student learning, and

Allow students to progress at their own paces and to accelerate their education.

Stanford EPGY constantly evaluates new technologies and revise courses regularly based student-performance data. This program strives to deepen and improve the nature of computer-based distance learning instruction.
