St. Mary's Catholic School

Welcome to Technology Class!

Computer technology class at St. Marys School Boise Idaho

St. Mary’s is a leader in computer integrated education within the Boise Catholic school community with a complete computer curriculum for grades K-8.

The mission of our Technology Program is to create an educational environment that is strengthened and supported by information and communications technology. The dual goals of the program are to develop student technology skills while at the same time integrating computers into the K-8 classroom curriculum. These goals are not mutually exclusive. Our philosophy is to view technology as educational tools to be used creatively, responsibly, and collaboratively for teaching and learning in order to solve problems and to access, analyze, present, and communicate information.

Our technology classes are delivered to students through regularly scheduled computer instruction in fully equipped and networked Technology Lab as well as in individual classrooms.  (Our Technology Lab was recently updated and equipped thanks to a generous grant from the E.L. Weigand Foundation.)  All students receive lessons in the Lab on a weekly basis, and further utilize their classroom computers for class work and individualized computer software instruction.
