Catholic tradition is an integral part of what makes St. Mary’s such a special place, but our families and students need not be Catholic to benefit from the unique character of our school. We are a home for all who are open to Christian values.

As a Catholic school, we provide opportunities for our students to practice their faith and come together to celebrate Mass. Each grade takes turns coordinating and hosting these Masses. Parents are always welcome to join us for these community celebrations.

A Spirit of Charity

A spirit of charity infuses our school, and there are many opportunities for our students to practice kindness and love for others. Throughout the year we collect needed items such as food, blankets, and clothing for organizations that help those in need. Each class adopts an elderly homebound friend. Throughout the year they interact with their friends by visiting with them, sending them written notes, and inviting them to Mass.

In the fall our school participates in the annual Rake Up Boise project. This city-wide project is designed to help the elderly and physically challenged clean up their yards before winter arrives.

Service Hours

As part of our efforts to instill a life-long spirit of charity and gratitude, St. Mary’s students complete service hours that are appropriate for their grade level. Many of these projects are completed as a class as part of our religion curriculum.
